THE MARCAT TEAM

Catherine Poulter  ~  Managing Director

Global recruiting was a solution Catherine Poulter embraced when skill shortages challenged her US based businesses. Upon returning to New Zealand, after 15 years abroad, she saw the opportunity to use her experience and South American business contacts to assist with the urgent need to supply quality, motivated labour to the progressive NZ dairy industry. Her family have dairy farmed on the Hauraki Plains for 4 generations and she and her husband own a grazing unit.

Prior to founding Marcat Recruiting Limited Catherine started, developed and sold businesses in the UK and US. Innovative at the time, her businesses have been featured in the New York Times, The Washington Times, The San Francisco Examiner, Figaro and many more international publications. In 2002 she was presented with a National Leadership Award by the US Business Advisory Council.

Catherine, her husband and two daughters returned to live in New Zealand in 2004. After taking time out for her young children she is thrilled to be back in business, involved in the world class NZ dairy industry.
